Over my winter break I was given the opportunity to study abroad in the great country of Morocco. Currently, I have declared a Global Affairs major at George Mason University with a minor in the Arabic language. Therefore I chose Morocco to further my studies in Arabic. In Morocco I spent 2 weeks, practicing the Arabic language, discovering new foods, experiencing a new and far more conservative culture than mine, as well as making connections with people that have provided me with extraordinary opportunities. (Your network is your net worth.) Studying abroad is one exceptional way to expand your network internationally to ultimately enhance your scope of opportunities. It is ideal. Therefore if you have the opportunity to travel abroad I would highly recommend it.
